What are the best Excursion in CUBA?

Havana Tours:

In the provinces of Artemisa and Mayabeque, is the place where most flights will land, the first of the places to visit in Cuba. There are so many things to do in Havana that it is easy to spend 7 days knowing.

I recommend you spend at least 2 full days, a good way to overcome the jet lag and get to know the local culture.
In Havana, among other things, there is one of the many museums and historic buildings to visit, to go to one of the lively bars and listen to live music, and one of the best things in Havana is to attend the “Cañonazo de las nueve” festival in Havana.

It takes place every night at 9:00 p.m. in the “Fortaleza de La Cabaña “, finished in 1774, which has made Havana the most fortified city in the “New World”. During the ceremony, soldiers dressed in traditional 18th century costumes fire cannons as a warning, close the city walls to protect themselves from pirates and the army of enemy countries. The spectacle is interesting and the entrance ticket also includes a drink that can be drunk on a beautiful night view of Havana or you can stroll through the various museums and art exhibits of the fortress.

What visit in Havana in the same day?

A taxi from downtown should cost about $10 a price worth paying for one of Havana’s most interesting things, but also a visit to the Revolution Museum in Havana, which certainly gives a good idea of the Cuban revolution; a stroll through Old Havana leading to the Cathedral Square, Plaza de Armas, Plaza Vieja and Real Fabrica de Tabacos Partagas. Callejón de Hamel is a good example of street art in Havana.

El Malecon in Havana

One of the activities in Havana is a sunset stroll along El Malecón, 8 km of paved road along the sea where the waves of the sea spray and the inhabitants relax and flirt after a day’s work.

Along the Malecon, the Hotel Nacional is a beautiful neoclassical art deco building that became famous in 1933 when 300 army officers took refuge after Fulgencio Batista’s military coup, hoping to receive the support of the U.S. Embassy.

In 1946, the Hotel Nacional hosted the largest mafia conference in North America. Also recommend visit Vedado, a residential area full of incredible colonial houses and full of parks and gardens. It is one of the most beautiful and unique places in Cuba.

If you want to do something at night in Havana, you should definitely go to La “Bodeguita del Medio ” for a mojito and Floridita for a Daiquiri.

Private tour with a local in Havana: “American Vintage Car”. Discovery Old Havana, Afro-Cuban religions and at night shooting ceremony in “El morro”.
